This is a free pattern for beginner friendly tapestry crochet with just two colors. It's untested! If you find an issue please lmk and we'll talk through it. I recommend using one solid color, and one variegated or multicolor yarn. 152 stitches x 88 rows You will ch1 and turn at the end of every row. Gauge doesn't matter, I recommend a cat3 yarn (dk) and a hook that will make tight stitches so your stuffing doesn't come out. Make a panel for the back, it can be another cat panel or one color, striped, etc, be creative! Because of my new found love for dressing up, we decided to have a hobbit day for our anniversary celebration! Cloaks and all. This, of course, gave me a great opportunity to bust out a bonnet I made this year, which had so much love (and cuss words) and so many ideas poured into it. I'm not a "toot your own horn" kind of gal but I am so happy with how it came out, and all the details were so worth it. Mushrooms, daffodils, leaves, and violets adorn the bonnet, while a mushroom charm and a polymer clay piece I made (I've always called it Elessar) adorn the dangles.
